I'm old enough to have remembered the Zombies. Liked 'em, but would not call 'em HOF material. Only Nicks from this group, imo.

It's just not a true Hall of Fame until they let Harold Baines in.

Even Hilary and Obama and others who say yes to all they utter, would , or should say, yup....lol....any laughs ?? ....lol...but , really !!!!!....lol....

Gosh....comments , but no input....lol....hahahahahaha...etc...lol...whom else do you both think should be in the rock and roll house of rememberance... Lol...Dennis the menace is one I vote for....ps: Nope ,,....God , my Lord etc , Jesus Christ , as He has many titles of worth , the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Knowledge, Understanding , Wisdom, with Prudence, Insight, Forsight, etc etc...lol...thanks,....Meds are for folk who do not want to remove the problems, just the imbalances / symptoms for a while and certainly not looking for the cures....a crutch is what a lot of folk want via Meds...a shame so called healthy folk cause so much harm in society, in so many ways , and think they are healthy...lol..just a thought...lol...say !!!!! Lol....etc.....

Say , , is supposed to be there ,but got lost some where....translation problems perhaps....lol....ps: a jest is worth a lot at and with UpInClass members....but always remember to take all that is stated is just a view point with or with out substance and the future History of comments will bear out what is what and more importantly the whys....lol...so have a look see into the views of fellow members and see if they have a view on any given subject matter mentioned in conversations here at UpInClass...or just comments to stimulate others....lol...but do watch out for folks who just sit in the background to access how to use folks view points for reasons not mentionable....lol..etc...lol...just a thought....lol

Happy to see the Zombies and Roxy Music make it.
Always felt the Zombies were underrated in a similar way to The Kinks, but the Kinks kept going and justified their legendary status and the Zombies became ... Argent. There is an interesting link between the two bands in that bass player Jim Rodford hung around the original Zombies though not an official member, then was an original in Argent before becoming the longest tenured bass player for the Kinks and then going back as part of the Zombies revival. RIP Jim.
Bryan Ferry was the quintessentially cool front man with Roxy Music, and though somewhat unfairly, negatively associated with club music, they had some great musicians in the group.
Interesting interview with Phil Manzanera discussing joining Roxy Music.

Another vote for Feat! And I agree they are in--well ahead of this class. I guess I assumed they were already there.

Little Feat - what are they good for ? War , on the other hand, should certainly be in , just on the basis of this recording alone !

Sadly there is more chance of BPiets getting a Pulitzer Prize for writing than Little Feat getting into the R&R Hall of Fame . Their chance has gone now as these are the likely inductees in the years ahead : www.futurerocklegends.com/future.php

Little Feat has been played by and with many...and many respect them... I don’t know any Grateful Dead....or Frank Zappa.....yet they are in... In fact there are three stories about the genesis of Little Feat. In any version, Zappa was instrumental in getting Lowell George and his new band a contract with Warner Bros. Records.
Guitarist Jimmy Page stated Little Feat was his favorite American band in a 1975 Rolling Stone interview. Rolling Stone has done various articles on them and fan polls in the magazine in the past have shown people believe they should be in...
Some of the prominent musicians and bands to play and record the music of Little Feat include Phish, The Black Crowes, The Byrds, The Bridge, Garth Brooks, Jackson Browne, Bob Dylan, Steve Earle, The Flying Burrito Brothers, Emmylou Harris, Taylor Hicks, Ron Holloway, Keisuke Kuwata, Nicolette Larson, Nazareth, Robert Palmer, The Radiators, Bonnie Raitt, Linda Ronstadt, John Sebastian, Richard Shindell, Carly Simon, Mick Taylor, Van Halen, Joe Walsh, Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Sam Bush, Coco Montoya, Vince Herman, Inara George, Stephen Bruton, Widespread Panic, Warren Haynes and Gov't Mule, Blackberry Smoke, Jimmy Buffett Anders Osborne and Gregg Allman.
In 2008, Little Feat reached their 20th anniversary as a once-again active band, and with just one lineup change since 1988. Jimmy Buffett has been an enthusiastic booster of the band for many years and his private record label was partnered with Feat's Hot Tomato Records to produce the CD Join the Band. Released in mid-August 2008, the album features collaborations with Buffett, Dave Matthews, Emmylou Harris, Bob Seger, Béla Fleck, Brooks & Dunn, Chris Robinson (Black Crowes), Vince Gill, Mike Gordon (Phish), and Inara George.
Little Feat's songs "Sailin' Shoes" and "Fat Man in the Bathtub" were featured prominently in the 2010 Edward Norton film Leaves of Grass.
Please note that I am writing this out of regard for the opinion of someone I know who thinks the band merits a place there..and I can tell a Little Frst song more readily than some of the acts who have made it....

I agree that Little Feat are certainly worthy of being inducted but givien the fact that they have never even been nominated makes it long odds that they will ever get in now .

Woulda coulda shoulda gone to the Zombies show. Basically the same seats as in the avatar. They broke up because the lead singer Colin Blunstone had stage fright. They were on CBS recently and sounded good. It seems he hasn't sung since the break up so he sounded great. I was really kicking myself. It was a Wednesday show which screws with work so that was the main reason we said no. I love Ron Argent.
